I have cared for you since you were born. Yes, I carried you before you were born. I will be your God throughout your lifetime—until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you. Isaiah 46:3-4
In the early 1980s, Rev. Terry Snyder and his wife Shirley saw the need for a ministry to Wesley’s senior citizens. There were 15 people at the initial meeting. Over the years attendance at Keenagers has continued to grow. While this ministry is provided by a team of Wesley volunteers, the outreach brings in people from surrounding communities. Any retired person and their spouse, regardless of age, is invited to the meetings.
Keenagers meet the first Thursday of the month except January, February, and July. Meetings start at 10am in the Wesley Center with a short program (an informative speaker or entertainment) followed by devotions led by various local clergy, and then lunch. The only cost is $3.00 for lunch. Come and enjoy the fellowship and make new friends.
